Resort Activities

Our swimming pool is located at the back of our park on the edge of Jarboe Bayou. The pool is positioned in a great spot that catches the sea breeze most of the day. We have a sunscreen wind sail for a partial shade of the pool and sitting area. We have several chairs for sunbathing and enjoying the poolside experience. For your convenience, we have a soda machine located just outside the pool area.

Enjoy the awesome outdoor area along Jarboe Bayou, which is located at the back of the resort, and walk your dogs. Bird watching year-round with highlights of natural flora and fauna that you may spy along the walking path along Jarboe Bayou.

The Brickhouse RV Resort has a pier on the edge of Jarboe Bayou which allows for salt and fresh water for fishing. Jarboe Bayou is a stream near Kemah. The most popular fish species caught here are Red drum, Black drum, and Spotted Sea-trout. Please use your best judgment when determining where you can fish and follow local rules and regulations.

Our recreational clubhouse is open to all resort guests. There is something for everyone in our community clubhouse. We have so many things to be enjoyed; from games to puzzles, a flat-screen television for movies or your favorite shows, and vending machine.

Main Office / Convenient Store 
During business hours the central office has the same convenient store chalked full of items for your convenience while staying with us.

Vendor Machines
We have a coke machine located near the front office outside and we have another at the back of the resort near the pool.

Club House / Business Center
The clubhouse and business center are located near the main office, right next to the laundry area.

Shopping and Dining

We are less than 5 minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk where you will find a diverse collection of restaurants all in one location. There will be something for everyone with favorites like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Landry’s Seafood House, Bill’s Burgers, Red Sushi, The Aquarium Restaurant, The Flying Dutchman, and Saltgrass Steakhouse. You can also find seasonal events like Kemah’s famous “Rock the Dock” summer concert series, Fireworks Fridays, classic car shows, the Miss Kemah Pageant, and so much more. So don’t just come stay, come play! We are only 30 minutes from Galveston Bay where you can also find fine dining, boutiques, cafes, shops and pubs. There are also many lovely places to stop along the way.

Just up the road, on IH 45, you’ll find one of the Houston areas leading shopping centers, Baybrook Mall as well as the Tanger Outlet Mall, Texas City, TX 77591, on I-45 heading South.

If you feel like staying “home” after a long day of shopping, pick up some fresh seafood from one of Seabrook’s many fish markets. We recommend Rose’s Seafood. Bring it back to the resort and grill out at our waterfront BBQ area!

On the Bay and Through the Trails

• Seabrook - Hike & Bike Trails will keep you busy for hours, along with their disk golf course, tennis courts and fishing piers.
• Bayshore Park is just a hop, skip and a jump away from our resort, in San Leon. It is right on the water and the sunsets are absolutely phenomenal.
• Kemah and Clear Lake City offer sailing, charter fishing, jet skiing and much, much more!!
• Seabrook is a bird sanctuary on one of the largest migratory paths in North America. With a diverse habitat of both fresh and salt marsh, bay shoreline, riparian and upland woodlands, 291 species of birds have been identified. Seabrook is on the Clear Lake Loop of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail and has four designated sites along Todville Road. Click here to see the Seabrook Tourism site.
