The Brickhouse RV Resort has many amenities that will add comfort to your stay, including a crystal clear pool, dog park, fishing pier, park area along Jarboe Bayou, community center, spacious individual bathrooms with showers, laundry facilities, business center, cable television, and wireless internet.

While waiting on your laundry or near the office we have a nice sitting lounge area for our guests. It is shaded nicely in the evening with a nice cross breeze most evenings. Vending machines and soda machines are near.

Depending on the length of the trip you intend to take in your RV, you are probably not thinking about what to do with your laundry. Most of us who go on week-long, or even shorter, vacations pack enough clothes to get us through that particular timeframe.

Our swimming pool is located at the back of our park on the edge of Jarboe Bayou. The pool is positioned in a great spot that catches the sea breeze most of the day. We have a sunscreen wind sail for a partial shade of the pool and sitting area. We have several chairs for sunbathing and enjoying the poolside experience. For your convenience, we have a soda machine located just outside the pool area.

The Brickhouse RV Resort has a pier on the edge of Jarboe Bayou which allows for salt and fresh water for fishing. The most popular species caught here are Red drum, Black drum, and Spotted sea trout. You'll need a Texas State fishing license for any fishing done from our pier. You can purchase a weekend pass or a yearly pass from any local sporting goods store.

Our dog park is located at the end of our park on the edge of Jarboe Bayou. Our dog park has clean-up bags available and dog park equipment. We have stepping-paws dog exercise pods, and a dog parks modest hill ramp. Our stepping paws pods require the dog to either step or jump from each platform as the pods increase and decrease in height while helping to develop balance and confidence in your dog. We are sure your dog and you will have fun with its park equipment.

Enjoy the awesome outdoor area along Jarboe Bayou, which is located at the back of the resort, and walk your dogs. Bird watching year-round with highlights of natural flora and fauna that you may spy along the walking path along Jarboe Bayou.

The most popular fish species caught here are Red drum, Black drum, and Spotted Sea-trout. Please use your best judgment when determining where you can fish and follow local rules and regulations.
Our recreational clubhouse is open to all resort guests. There is something for everyone in our community clubhouse. We have so many things to be enjoyed; from games to puzzles, a flat-screen television for movies or your favorite shows, and vending machine.

During business hours the central office has the same convenient store chalked full of items for your convenience while staying with us.

We have a coke machine located near the front office outside and we have another at the back of the resort near the pool.

The clubhouse and business center are located near the main office, right next to the laundry area.

We are less than 5 minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk where you will find a diverse collection of restaurants all in one location. There will be something for everyone with favorites like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Landry’s Seafood House, Bill’s Burgers, Red Sushi, The Aquarium Restaurant, The Flying Dutchman, and Saltgrass Steakhouse. You can also find seasonal events like Kemah’s famous “Rock the Dock” summer concert series, Fireworks Fridays, classic car shows, the Miss Kemah Pageant, and so much more. So don’t just come stay, come play! We are only 30 minutes from Galveston Bay where you can also find fine dining, boutiques, cafes, shops and pubs. There are also many lovely places to stop along the way.
Just up the road, on IH 45, you’ll find one of the Houston areas leading shopping centers, Baybrook Mall as well as the Tanger Outlet Mall, Texas City, TX 77591, on I-45 heading South.
If you feel like staying “home” after a long day of shopping, pick up some fresh seafood from one of Seabrook’s many fish markets. We recommend Rose’s Seafood. Bring it back to the resort and grill out at our waterfront BBQ area!
